The Vincentians

We, at St. Vincent de Paul, believe that our senior citizens are an invaluable resource and add tremendous wisdom to our faith community.  We have created a peer group for our parishioners over 55 that helps to continue growth, friendship and faith building.  We call that group the Vincentians.

The Vincentians meet on the second Tuesday of each month and have various scheduled activities that are planned annually by their Core Team Members and the Family Minister of the parish.  These activities range from Lenten Reflections in the social hall to a trip to the Snoqualmie Casino.  We have visited the Seattle Conservatory on Capital Hill and Gone to Olympia for Catholic Advocacy Day.  We have gone to the Grotto in Portland and the Tulip Fields in Laconner.  When at home we may have a speaker or social time as we enjoy a catered lunch at reasonable pricing.

The Vincentians has also formed four cleaning crews which alternate church cleaning each Friday of the year.

If you are looking for a fun & busy senior citizen group to join...consider the Vincentians.
